Engine Options - See Below The Newest Replacement for this Engine is the FX730V-DS09-S, it is SAE certified at 23.5HP, which if the FH721V was actually SAE certified it would be the same or Possibly Lower. The FX730V was 26HP before the new ratings compared to the FH721V which is only 25HP. Some Things to Note: -Lower Price, Save $$$ where the FH721V Engine Sells for $1900, the FX730V is selling in the $1600's.. -Has a Canister Style Heavy Duty Air Filter, if replacing the FH721V-FS01 or similar engine with standard air filter, this is a huge upgrade, but make sure you have enough room in your application for a Heavy Duty Air Filter Canister. -Has a Heavy Duty Shift-Style Starter. The Solenoid is mounted to the starter, you will want to reroute the wires currently going to your Solenoid to the Solenoid mounted on the Starter. -Your current FH721V muffler will not work. Do to the redesign of the Engines and Lower Degree of V angle of the Cylinders. Please see our listing of new Kawasaki Horizontal Mufflers or current manufacturer of the equipment for replacement. |
